FOR-SITE Foundation
FOR-SITE creates large-scale contemporary art exhibitions that draw thousands of visitors, free of charge. I have collaborated with this arts nonprofit on many design projects over the years, helping them to strengthen their visibility through a more consistent approach to branding.
Projects range from a new logo and brand guidelines to brochures, exhibition typography, fundraising materials, reports, and signage.
Interactive Postcard Project
Collaborated with the FOR-SITE Foundation and artist Ai Weiwei to create postcard designs for the artist's interactive project Yours Truly, part of the historic exhibition @Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz. Each postcard was preprinted with the name and address of a prisoner of conscience; the cards' designs are based on the national birds and flowers of those countries where the prisoners are being detained. During the run of the exhibition, visitors completed more than 90,000 postcards, sending notes of support and encouragement to prisoners around the world.
